Christmas in Utah... Long overdue.

This year we got to spend almost three full weeks in Utah. We had originally only planned on spending two weeks, but a week before we were set to leave, we got a call that Riley's Grandpa Todd had suffered a heart attack and passed away.
It came as quite a shock to both of us. I grew to love Grandpa Todd very much, and since Riley lived with his Grandparents from the age of 13, Grandpa was more of a father figure to Ri than a Grandpa.
We miss him. I will always be thankful to Grandpa for making Ri the incredible man he is and for teaching him how to be the perfect husband and father.
Thankfully, we were able to fly home for the funeral and since Grandpa had served in the Navy, Riley got to remove the flag from his casket and present it to his uncle. Very very cool.
Anyway, the trip was a great success. We made awesome use of our time! We got to see Sister Andresen before she left on the mish, made a little trip to the ER, attended my childhood friend's wedding, saw my grandparent's new house and family we haven't seen in forever, got some much needed R&R, we had a snowy white Christmas surrounded by those we love, and Riley gave Mason the sweetest blessing I have ever heard.
And now... Prepare for an overload of pictures! Enjoy!
Xoxo
